14:12. Removal and installation of the radio receiver and loudspeakers

Considered in the present manual of the car are equipped with safety cushions (SRS). When performing any works near sensors of blows, a steering column or the dashboard disconnect SRS (see Safety cushions - the general information). You do not make check of the SRS models by means of any type of the diagnostic equipment. |
On the Civic models the radio receiver and the cassette player are placed in separate blocks, on the Integra models the stereosystem is presented by the radio tape recorder.
Radio receiver

1. Disconnect from the battery at first a negative wire, then positive.
|
|
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action! |
2. Remove the central console (see the Head Kuzov).

|
3. Turn out two fixing screws located under assembly of the radio receiver (see an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
4. Take the receiver from the nest in the dashboard and disconnect from it an electrical wiring and an antenna cable. On the Civic models separate assemblies of the radio receiver and the player (disconnect from the first a wire of the last). Remove the radio receiver (see an accompanying illustration).

5. For removal of the cassette player on the Civic models turn out fixing bolts (on two from each party of the block).
6. Installation is made upside-down. |

Loudspeakers
Forward main loudspeakers
|
|
1. Remove the panel of decorative finishing of a loudspeaker.
|
|
2. Turn out fixing screws, take assembly of a loudspeaker from the landing nest and disunite the electric socket (see an accompanying illustration). |
3. Installation is made upside-down. |
|
Forward high-frequency loudspeakers
|
|
1. Remove the panel of an internal upholstery of a door.
2. Disunite the electric socket of the high-frequency loudspeaker.
3. On the Civic models remove the panel of finishing of a side mirror.
4. Turn out fixing screws and remove the loudspeaker.
5. Installation is made upside-down. |

Back loudspeakers
|
|
1. On the Civic models remove the panel of back side finishing (Hatchback), or the back shelf (Compartment/sedan).
2. On the Integra models with a body the Hatchback remove a decorative cover of a loudspeaker.
3. On the Integra models with a body the Sedan turn out three screws of fastening of a cover of a loudspeaker in the luggage compartment. Uncover.
4. Turn out fixing screws and remove a loudspeaker.
5. Installation is made upside-down.
