1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action! |
2. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see Dropping pressure in a power supply system).
3. On all models, except Integra the Hatchback of 1998 of the issue, remove a back seat (see the Head Kuzov). On the Hatchback of 1998 of the Issue. Integra models remove a spare wheel and a protective cover.

4a. Turn out bolts of fastening of a cover of access to the fuel tank to assembly of a gasoline pump (see silt.: Civic models).

5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly. By means of two wrenches disconnect fuel lines (see an accompanying illustration). |

6. Give nuts of fastening of the pump (see an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
7. Carefully take assembly from the fuel tank (see an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
8. Remove a protective cover of the main electric socket (see an accompanying illustration).
|
|
|
9. Disunite the main electric socket of assembly of the fuel pump (see an accompanying illustration).
|
10. Flat-nose pliers squeeze clips of fastening of a fuel hose – remove the top clip, lower shift to the middle of a hose, having completely released the pump union.
11. Disconnect the pump from a basic arm.

12. Remove from the lower end face of assembly the filtering element (see an accompanying illustration).
|
13. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to replace sealing laying of a landing flange of a cover of access to the fuel tank.
