1. Transfer a control lever transmission to situation Park (Parking) or to neutral situation and cock the parking brake. Pull for the handle of unlocking of the lock of a cowl which is located under the control panel at the left. At the same time the cowl will a little rise.

2. Standing in front of the car, push fingers of the right hand under a first line of a cowl (to the right of the middle of a cowl). Then run this hand to the left and grope the handle of an additional lock of a cowl. Take away this handle of a collum to the left to release a cowl. Lift a cowl.

3. Release the supporting rack from the holder and insert its end into a nest from the inside of a cowl. The nest is located on the right if to look in front of the car. To close a cowl, raise it a little and take out the end of the supporting rack from a cowl nest. Lay a rack into place and insert it in the holder, Lower a cowl on height about 30 cm over a forward cross-piece of a body and then release it. At the same time the lock of a cowl has to be closed.
