2.20. Safety locks
All chains of the electric equipment of your car are protected from damages at short circuits or an overload by fuses. Electric safety locks are concentrated in two or three blocks.

The Podkapotny block of safety locks is located in a motive compartment near the rechargeable battery. To open a cover of the block of safety locks, press a clamp pad, as shown in an illustration.


On the cars equipped with the anti-blocking brake system the third block of safety locks which protect electric chains of ABS in addition is installed. The block of safety locks of ABS is on the right side of a motive compartment (or on the left side if to look in front of the car).

One more block of electric safety locks - — internal – is located under the control panel at the left. For access to safety locks it is necessary to uncover previously, the closing panel with safety locks (instructions for dismantle of a cover are given below).

In cars with the right wheel (except the modifications intended for delivery to Australia) the internal block of electric safety locks is located behind office for personal belongings of the driver in the depth of the control panel. For access to safety locks it is necessary to take out the box closing them from the control panel.

Cars with the left wheel


To dismantle a cover of the block of safety locks, open it to horizontal position and take out from hinged support, having pulled on themselves.

The modifications of the car intended for delivery to Australia


Completely open a cover of the block of safety locks. Then press bottom edge of a cover up and uncover, having pulled it on themselves. To put a cover into place, establish the lower arms of a cover on the hinged support located in a nest and close a cover.

Cars with the right wheel (except the modifications intended for delivery to Australia)


To dismantle a box for personal belongings of the driver, at first completely open it, then press bottom edge of a box and take out it from a panel nest.

To establish a box for personal belongings of the driver into place, execute the following.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Get the top emphasis on a back wall of a box for pads of limiters which are located in a nest. Then press a box from below up, as shown in an illustration.

2. Press bottom edge of a cover of a box that both lower hinged support of a box entered the corresponding grooves of a box. Check that the box freely turned in hinged support.
