2.18. Driving belts

Check a condition of driving belts of auxiliary units, having paid attention to existence of cracks, stratifications and other wear tracks at edges of belts. Check a tension of each belt, having pressed a hand thumb a belt in the middle between pulleys and having estimated deflection size.
The normal tension of driving belts has to conform to requirements of Specifications.
If you found signs of wear of driving belts or their weak tension, it is necessary to replace belts or to make adjustment of their tension.
