1a. For check of serviceability of functioning of an electric motor of the drive of the fan disunite the socket of its conducting (see иллюстр.: cooling system). Now, by means of a wire crossing point connect the fan directly to the battery. If the fan does not begin to rotate, replace an electric motor.

2. If the motor as it should be, check a condition of a safety lock and the relay (see the Head Onboard electric equipment), the sensor switch of the fan, the relay of the K/V fan (at the corresponding complete set it is established in the left forward corner of a motive compartment) and a connecting electrical wiring of the corresponding contour.

3. For check of serviceability of functioning of the sensor switch of the fan of the cooling system, disconnect the socket of its electrical wiring (see an accompanying illustration), then by means of an ohmmeter make sure of lack of conductivity between sensor switch plugs at the cold engine (below 88 °C conductivity has to be absent). Start the engine, warm up it up to the normal working temperature, then again muffle and make sure that now (at a temperature of cooling liquid above 92÷96 °C) conductivity between plugs of the socket takes place. In case of negative results of checks replace the sensor switch.

4. Functioning of the fan of the air conditioning system is controlled by the electronic module of management (ESM). If the fan does not function at inclusion To/in in spite of the fact that all checks described in the previous paragraph yield positive result, check coolant level in system. Diagnostics of ESM can be made in the conditions of a workshop of car service. |
