12.2. Removal and installation of assembly of the forward shock-absorber with a screw spring

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Weaken nuts of fastening of the corresponding wheel. A car front also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove a wheel.
2. Otboltite a flexible brake hose from assembly of the shock-absorber.
3. Disconnect a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability from the lower lever of a suspension bracket (see Removal and installation of the forward stabilizer of cross stability with basic plugs).

4. Get a jack under the lower lever of a suspension bracket, having provided it a support at the removed assembly of the shock-absorber. Turn out a coupling bolt (see an accompanying illustration).

5a. Give a nut and take a through bolt of fastening of a fork to the lower lever of a suspension bracket (see an accompanying illustration).

5b. Remove a fork. In case of need for separation of a fork from the shock-absorber tap it the hammer with soft brisk.

6. Having propped up assembly of the shock-absorber, give two nuts of its top support (see an accompanying illustration). Take assembly from under the car through a wheel arch.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start assembly of the shock-absorber with a screw spring through a wheel arch on the regular place. Accurately pass fixing hairpins throughout openings of the top support in an arch mudguard. At once screw fixing nuts on hairpins, having tightened them so far only by hand.

In view of the considerable weight of damping assembly it will be reasonable to secure with the help of the assistant.

2. Fill the lower end of the shock-absorber in a damping fork. Track hit of uvulas from a reverse side of the case of the shock-absorber in reciprocal grooves of a fork.
3. Connect a damping fork to the lower lever of a suspension bracket. Tighten with the required effort самоконтрящиеся nuts, then tighten a coupling bolt of a fork with the required effort.
4. Connect to the lower lever a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability (see Removal and installation of the forward stabilizer of cross stability with basic plugs). Fix in the arm on assembly of the shock-absorber a flexible brake hose. Strongly tighten an arm bolt.
5. Establish into place a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel nuts with the required effort (see Specifications to the Head Routine maintenance).
6. Tighten with the required effort of a nut of the top support of damping assembly.
